Kunal is a cancer survivor and climate enthusiast who has spent over two decades at the forefront of cleantech. He believes in empowering the founders and teams he trusts to stay laser-focused on their mission, rather than relying on activism and press releases. Today, he calls New York City home, where he’s driving progress toward a Climate 2.0 future through Prithvi Ventures, while also advancing cutting-edge health and longevity innovations at Ayuh Ventures. A dedicated road cyclist, Kunal values the simplicity and freedom of the open road and strives to spend more time on two wheels than four, finding constant inspiration in the natural world. With an academic foundation in economics and environmental sciences from Charles Sturt University in Australia and the University of Mumbai in India, he’s committed to creating a cleaner, healthier planet for generations to come.

Murali Sethumadhavan, Operating Partner

Murali is a leader with 30+ years of expertise in R&D, innovation, corporate strategy, and M&A in the materials and plastics industries. With 35+ patents and multiple innovation awards, he has successfully bridged technology and business, driving commercial growth and strategic partnerships worldwide. Currently, he is the Chief Strategy Officer at dClimate and a Limited/Operating Partner at Prithvi Ventures. Previously, he held leadership roles at Rogers Corporation and Bose Corporation, spearheading innovation and growth. Murali also serves on the boards of JIVA Materials and Beyond Benign, advancing sustainability in green chemistry and materials. An angel investor and mentor since 2015, he actively supports startups and entrepreneurship. He holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Science from UMass Amherst and an M.Tech from IIT. Committed to education, he co-founded a science club for K-12 students and mentors young talent in academic competitions.
